Summary: Jasper recalls the times he's been so unwillingly taken out of consciousness. Just alittle Jasper insight.

	Unconscious Thought

_* This isn't a Haggie or a Jaggie. OR a Jenry, personally I think that would be considered incest but whatever, just read please! Oh, and as always, READ AND REVIEW!_

Jasper didn't understand why he so enjoyed being friends with his annoying, danger-drawing, wierd, adventurous, risk-taking cousin, Henry. But he did. Here he was, fingers stuck in heating vent, yanking his arm back desperately trying to pull free. Because if he didn't, one of the four armed "bad guys" would most likely find him... and kill him.

This fear was half-confirmed when a muscular man dressed in the same shirt as the rest of his group. He smiled and with a great, painful tug, Jasper was free from the thin metal bars of the vent. But not free from this man. Jasper struggled, trying to get away but the man had other ideas.

He felt a blue cloth, held by a large hand, clamp over his mouth and nose, and though he screamed, it was a waste of his very valuable breath. It didn't take long for him to sink unwillingly into unconsciousness and allow himself to be dragged away...

This wasn't the first time he'd been unconsious. Far from it. He'd always been a nervous person and when he was completely terrified, this trait showed as he would more than likely faint there on the spot.

But it had never happened as often as when Henry Griffin came into his life.

Only a few weeks after Henry moved in with the Bartlett's, Jasper found himself sick but not wanting to believe it, he ignored this. He had far more important things to do than be sick. But as always, when illness combines with his little panic attacks, he fainted in the middle of class, quite unintentionally causing a scene.

A few weeks after that incident, it occured twice within about twenty minutes.

He had a simple task: Put the MP3 player into the lunch box as a decoy, while Henry does all the dirty work, rescuing Maggie, keeping the ruby safe. But it proved to be more difficult than first appeared as he flipped up the small metal clasps and a white smoke poured out of the little tin box.

The gas seemed to be filling his brain as he fell backwards to the floor, unconscious. He could only assume that this was a knockout gas of some kind, but this really did not trouble him too much.

Then, stirring he heard a loud thump next to him and groggily turned over on his side to see the source of the noise.

Staring back at him were the glassy eyes of a dead man, his expression frozen by his untimely and definitely unexpected death. Jasper's breath caught in his chest at the sight and he gasped quietly before fainting.

Unconsciousness had overtaken him more than the times just described but, those were two of the most memorable as they had something to do with some of Henry's more interesting of shenanigans.

Jasper thought all of this over as he woke up dazedly, finding himself being tied to a chair by the man who'd knocked him out so rudely.

He sighed. Of course he was in another pickle. He always was when he was having "adventures" with Henry.

He compared himself (though it embarassed him deeply.) to the damsel in distress in most action-packed thrillers. Similar to Daphne in Scooby Doo.

But unfortunately, Jasper had more important things on his mind then talking dog and his gang of cartoon teenagers whose parents were apparently non-existent as noone cared when they would all pile into the surely drug-filled van and take off on one of their mysteries.

Jasper would have liked to kick himself for thinking such a detailed summary of Scooby Doo. But he couldn't. He was tied to a chair.

End file.
